Since the creation of the family company IRIS OHYAMA, we are committed to making your daily life easier through logical and intelligent solutions to make your life more enjoyable. Transparent storage boxes, of which we are the pioneers, were in 1989 a response to the dissatisfaction of consumers who cannot see inside their storage boxes. We developed the world's first transparent boxes and changed the whole storage culture.
We did not limit ourselves to the Japanese market. We have expanded the reach of our business to Europe, USA, China, Korea and Southeast Asia, where we inspire people with the concept of “Comfortable Living”, developed in Japan.

2022 GENDER EQUALITY INDEX
In 2022, IRIS Ohyama obtained a score of 92/100 on the gender equality index.
This note highlights the work carried out on the issue of gender equality. It is the result of an ambitious HR policy, which relies on people, the driving force behind performance and a real lever to increase the satisfaction of our customers and our partners.
The law for the freedom to choose one's professional future created, as of 2019, the Gender Equality Index.
The Equality Index has been designed as a practical tool to advance equal pay between women and men within companies.
Calculated over 12 consecutive months, the index uses precise formulas based on 5 indicators:

The distribution gap of individual increases,
The promotion distribution gap ,
The number of employees increased on their return from maternity leave,
The number of women and men among the 10 highest earners.
